Due to critical system updates and the Labor Day holiday, the Louisiana Department of Revenue (LDR) will be closed from 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, through Monday, Sept. 7, 2026. In addition to the closure of all LDR offices during this period, all online services including electronic tax filing and payments and the Louisiana Taxpayer Access Point (LaTAP) portal will be unavailable as well. All in-person, telephone and online customer service will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

How do I obtain forms?

Louisiana tax forms are available online through the Louisiana Department of Revenue (LDR). You can download and print current and many prior-year forms, instructions, and related publications from the Tax Forms page.

You can search for forms by:

  • Form number (for example, IT-540 or R-7004)

  • Tax type

  • Keyword

  • Tax year

Most business tax returns are required to be filed electronically. Individual income tax returns may also be filed electronically through LaTAP or an approved tax preparation software provider, which is generally the fastest and most secure filing option.
